This loose-fitting vintage caftan is made from Hawaiian flowered fabric, with brown trim, three covered buttons and very high side slits on both sides. The fabric is a rayon/polyester, and there are no tags, so the caftan was likely handmade. Based on the style and fabric it's likely from the 1960s. It's in good shape except for a small hole in the sleeve that was carefully patched using the same fabric (see images). This can be work as a beach cover up or dress. Armpit to armpit measures 19", so the circumference at the bust is 38" and is the same width all the way down. Shoulder to shoulder is 15", the slits are 21" on each side and the length from shoulder to hem is 42. 5".
