This comfy long sleeve retro gingham shirt is really fun. The collar is large and the buttons are all on. It closes with a belt and is adjustable. The fabric is in great shape and the blue and white are still bright. The fabric is crinkled or puckered which adds a texture to the blouse. Their are two great pockets for holding all kinds of things. A source on vintage clothing mentioned that these pockets were handy for holding clothespins, buttons, and barrettes. Ha! I have noticed a lot of women's clothes don't have pockets, so they might be handy.
This came from my elderly neighbor's collection of vintage clothes.
The brand is Alice Stuart A Division of Jonathon Logan which started in 1937. Based on the style and the material and what barrel it was stored in in my neighbor's collection, I am guessing this is a late 1960s blouse.
