This late 1960s dolly dress has a darling bib of white eyelet lace with a ruffled edge, centered on its sleeveless, fitted, high-waisted bodice. The bodice and tiered skirt of the dress are both made off-white-and-blue-flocked daisies striped print, poly-cotton blend fabric. A navy blue grosgrain ribbon defines the empire waist, and each tier of the skirt is trimmed with off-white lace along its lower edge. The dress is fully lined with off-white cotton fabric. Currently a midi-length, the dress has been significantly hemmed up by the previous owner (11" hem!), and clearly started its life as a maxi dress. The new owner can easily let the deep hem in the skirt and lining back down, if the longer length is preferred. The dress fastens in back with a nylon zipper. This sweet 1960s dress is in very good condition: the only issue to note is some loss of the fuzzy-textured flocking on the blue and white daisies, due to normal wearing and laundering.
