Label: Bigi at Bergdorf's. White leather background with floral motif in earthy tones. Vertical arm slits. Buttons down the front. Fully lined. Blue ILGWU tag.
Bigi at Bergdorf's was their junior line, a special department for girls. In a 1966 NYT article announcing the “lovely newcomer to its sixth floor”, Andrew Goodman said that “Bigi is more of a personality than an age”.
Excellent vintage condition. Some creasing/ small breaks to leather on trim and one minor smudge on collar but nothing that detracts from this gorgeous piece.
