60’s Minidress Black White Check Scooter Dress$50.00
This deadstock vintage, mod 1960s scooter dress is actually a romper, with short-shorts hidden under the split-front miniskirt, cute and practical! The sleeveless bodice and shorts are made of white, crepe-textured polyester double-knit fabric. The attached mini skirt is a slightly softer, nubby-textured polyester knit, in a black and white checked pattern, accented with navy decorative buttons on the wide waist panel, above the off-center front slit. The dress/romper fastens up the back with a metal zipper, and is unlined, except for the attached shorts under the skirt. The bust, waist, and upper hips are shaped by vertical darts, and the fit should be relatively close to the body, although not tight, when worn. (The overskirt is a slightly flared A-line, over the more fitted shorts underneath.) In excellent to mint condition, the romper was never worn, and it still has its original hangtags.
