1960's diminutive, toy size floral pillbox hat. Covered in beige flowers and bonze sequins along with a moss green veiling which is nesting along the front.

Interior is finished with a stiff net base and a moss green grosgrain ribbon along with small side placement combs.

Excellent condition showing no wear or age.

Inner circumference is 14 inches. Measuring on the outside, side to side is 9 inches.

Label is Miss Sally Victor and a store label of Jo Davis, Bridgeport.

The following information is provided courtesy of the Vintage Fashion Guild Label Resource. Sally Victor (1905-1977) first started making hats at Macy’s in 1924, then for L. Bamberger & Co. She opened her own millinery business on 53rd Street ,NYC in 1934 which grew to become one of the largest hat companies in the USA. In the early 1950s Victor’s Airwaves hat, which resembled a cut-out pie crust, was popularized when Mamie Eisenhower wore one to the Presidential inauguration. A new, lower-cost line which was geared toward a younger customer, Sally V, was launched in the 1950s. The business closed in 1965.
