60’s Bakelite Beads and Green Crystals Drop Earrings$18.00
These early 1960s chandelier earrings combine citrine textured art glass, iridescent green crystal beads and large, carved Bakelite beads in a deep yellow shade, with some darker green swirls. The beads hang in a cluster on tiny chain links from a gold metal, floral-shaped, pie-pan or pie-plate setting holding a single textured glass bead. The clip-on earrings have smaller-sized clip backs. The metal pin holding the Bakelite bead to the dangling cluster is flexible; it may need to be straightened from time to time, if it gets out of alignment. The earrings are in very good condition, with some wear to the surface of the crumb textured glass beads from age or use, unlikely to be terribly noticeable when they are worn. The unusual combination of bead types and color will make these mid-century drop earrings a fun addition to your vintage jewelry collection!
Size: 2. 5" long by 1" wide at center of cluster (Bakelite beads measure .75" long)
