Beautiful late 50s'early 60s black dressy coat made by Originala for the luxury department store, B. Altman. The fabric is from Stroock Fine Fabrics, which at the time was a giant in the fashion world of luxury fibers. Although there is no fabric label in this coat (Stroock often did not reveal exact fiber contents), it's likely that this coat is vicuna or llama, at least in part. The collar looks like mink in a very dark brown or mahogany color. Three large buttons are made with smoky rhinestones, and none of the stones are missing. The coat has raglan 3/4 sleeves and large pockets with decorative flaps. Fully lined in what looks like silk challis. No size label is present, so we are estimating it to fit sizes Medium to Large. Please refer to the measurements below for guidance regarding size.

- Length is 39" down center back.
