60’s/70's Lace Bell Sleeve Coral Floral Empire Waist Maxi Dress$390.00
This rare black label Gunne Sax by Jessica maxi dress with incredible lace angel sleeves, was designed by Jessica McClintock, and sold at Joseph Magnin's department store in 1969 or the early 70s. The fabric is a cotton polyester blend with ivory flowers on a coral (or medium peach) background. This floaty, ethereal dress has a lace trimmed, deep V neck and lined bodice. There is sheer mesh ivory lace across the shoulders, continuing down the wide angel sleeves that ends in a lace ruffle. 15" zipper in back along with 2 pearl buttons and an open area between the buttons. Bodice is gathered into an empire waistband which has ties that fasten in back. Lined skirt gathers on to waistband and flares out to two tiers of ruffles at the hem. Coral is a rare color in this print, I could not find another. Live the original cottagecore dream in this lovely Gunne Sax dress!
