60’s/70’s Silk Robe with Soaring Cranes Waterfall Print$78.00
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Really beautiful Japanese kimono robe in a beautifully detailed print-all over silk fabric. Super soft and smooth. Perfect piece for lounging around the house and feeling extra luxurious. One size fits most. Full lined. The length is nice because it's not too long that it will drag on the floor. I'm not totally certain on the age of this piece but I'm guessing 60s or 70s.
NOTED FLAWS: The sleeves of the robe have been obviously hand mended in several spots and there are light yellowish stains throughout which blend into the scenery of the outside of the piece. See photos for details.
MEASURMENTS:
Vintage sizing can tricky as the size listed on the tag of a vintage garment does not always reflect the actual size by today standards, so it is very important to measure, measure, measure! CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS LISTED BELOW against a similar item you own that fits you nicely. I recommend using a soft measuring tape and laying the garment flat on the floor. To measure the waist and hips with the garment laying flat, measure straight across the waistline/hipline and then multiply by 2 to get the around-the-waist/hip measurements.
23 inches across left shoulder seam to right shoulder
44 inches total length top to bottom
12 inches sleeve length (shoulder seam to sleeve hem)
