This is a set of 6 vintage celluloid or early plastic napkin rings. They have a pretty oval shape at the front that reminds me of an oval button. They’re a beautiful pale yellow that complements many colors of dinnerware, napkins, and table settings.

They are 1 ¾” around on the outside and 1 5/8” around on the inside.

They are discolored a little around the edges of the “buttons,” perhaps from the glue or usage over the years. The same is around their interior seams. In a few of the rings, there is some slight discoloring elsewhere. See pics.

Celluloid was the first artificial plastic material, produced initially in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
