This is a set of never-used brown ware cups or tumblers. They may have originally been tea cups or sake cups. They are 3 ¼” high and 2” around at the mouth, and hold about 3 ½ ounces.

There are no chips or cracks. Three of them have some uneven glazing, which would have occurred during the production process. See pics. Their bottoms are rough, again, part of the production process.

These are probably from the 1960s or 1970s. 5 of them have a “Made in Japan” sticker on the bottom. I have another set of 6 of these; let me know if you’re interested in them.
