Professional construction with no design label present but a New York Creation label can be found at the interior. The hat is done in a bold black, semi-lustrous straw with a wide black grosgrain ribbon around the crown and tails at the rear. The hat has a medium profile crown, dome shaped brim and an interior skull cap at the fit. The intended fit is as shown, at the back top crown of the head with the brim worn forward to shade the face or back to frame the face.
