This is just a darling 50s dress made of lovely white lace. The dress is simple with a straight neckline and pink silk shantung straps. The waist is accented with 3 rows of pink silk and little bows at the center, it is just such a sweet touch. The skirt is also simple and hangs straight with an A-line silhouette, the skirt is full but not a full circle. The dress is fully lined with a soft white rayon acetate and at the hem edge, there is a fun tulle ruffle to help give the skirt volume. The dress has a side metal zip with a hook and eye at the top.

In addition, the dress has a beautifully sweet little bolero jacket made of the same lace and is lined in white tulle. The jacket has a fun little collar and has ¾ length dolman style sleeves. It fastens at the empire waist with a hook and eye and another darling bow at the center to match the dress.

Dress is displayed with additional petticoats, not included, to give it even more volume.

Condition:

The dress is in great condition with only one thing to note. The tulle edge of the lining sticks out under the lace about 1 inch. It is consistent around the skirt, I am not sure if it is meant to but I personally think it is cute. If you don't like the look it can be taken up easily in the middle to meet the lace edge. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
