Gorgeous white nylon chiffon party dress. Circa 1950s.

Classic 50s New Look party dress with a fitted bodice, nipped waist and full flaring skirt.

White chiffon with a wide cumberbund waist embellished with prong set rhinestones and decorative 3-D embroidery done with off white nylon cording. The cummerbund waist wraps around the back of the dress over the zipper and closes with metal snaps.

Ruched at the front of the shoulders and where sewn to the waist.

The bodice is lined with white satin, probably acetate.

Nipped waist and triple layered full gathered skirt - the inner layer is tulle net, the middle layer is the same satin as the bodice, and the other layer is white nylon chiffon.

Does up the center back with a 13" long metal zipper.

Please note the dress is too small for my mannequin and would not close in the back - the zipper works perfectly as shown in the flat lay photograph of the dress back,

I'm 5'4" and this comes to the middle of my calf. It may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height.

Please note the dress is shown with a crinoline which is not included.

DESIGNER LABEL - only a blue and white union tag remains.

CONDITION: Excellent - No odors, discoloration, fading, snags, picks, holes, stains, rips, or missing or discolored rhinestones.

SIZING: No size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size XXS to XS (extra extra small to extra small) depending on how you like your fit.
