This is an exquisite vintage 1950's formal dress, and it will work beautifully for a wedding gown as well! It is made of soft champagne ivory, heavyweight slipper satin. It is embellished with detailed soutache, beading, and rhinestones. It features a fully boned, strapless bodice with double petal cups and a sweetheart neckline. the waist is fitted, the sweep is an incredibly full two panel circle with 244" circumference, and it is hemmed with horsehair braid for structure and fullness. It has a "Merlin" covered side meal zipper, hook & eye closure and a two-layer attached tulle underskirt. The details and construction of this piece are incredible!

Very good condition, structurally strong with excellent seam & fabric integrity. All embellishments are intact. There are some light scattered spots, mainly along the hemline with a few tiny ones on the sweep and one very light mark along the back layer of the neckline. It looks a bit like mud or dirt splashed onto the hem long ago. I have not tried to remove them, but they may come out with dry cleaning. These do not detract for how this dress presents at all. I tried to include photos of every spot I could find so please be sure to review them.
