Royal Blue satin dinner cocktail party wiggle dress.

This style of dress is so iconic of the period. I think every woman must have had a little dress like this. So classic and really fits any occasion.

The disadvantage of these little dresses is that they were almost always custom made. They had to be cut just perfectly for the individual woman's body. Measurements will be very important for the proper fit of this piece.

Fitted bodice with tucking at the center waistband. Pretty flowers accent the center of the tucking.

From there the tucks radiate out onto the front of the skirt. Love that detail!
The rest of the skirt is cut straight with a walking pleat in back.
Lined.

Short cap sleeves.

Back metal zipper.

Bodice is unlined. Skirt is lined.

Excellent condition.
