This is a truly stunning Vintage 1950's party dress. The label reads "Janice Jr by Rolfe". It is made of an iridescent burgundy taffeta fabric with an allover print in maroon and delicate black velvet edging along the collar and cuffs. The color of the fabric changes in the light from deep red and can look as dark as black- VERY cool! It has a fitted waist with a button front bodice and a center waist metal zipper. The sleeves are 3/4 length with detailed ruching and smocking up the cuffs. The sweep is full cut with a front and back center pleat. It has a metal side zipper closure and dolman sleeves. It is such a unique, head turning vintage piece!

Labeled size 13- There is no stretch, please use the measurements for an accurate fit.
Measures: up to 38" Bust (the dolman sleeves allow some wiggle room), 27 1/2" waist, full hips, 17" long shoulder to waist, 43" long shoulder to hem, 125" circumference sweep.
Excellent condition, with very good fabric and seam integrity, there is light wear with some of the nap of the velvet edge on the sleeve wearing away, no other issues- please see photo.
