50s Vintage Art Pottery White Planter Vase Japan$30.00
This is a beautiful vintage art pottery oval planter with floral details and handles that curve upward. It’s a beautiful creamy white color.
I display these pieces on their own, but there are plenty of functional uses for them as well—use as planters, vases, containers for objects, and more.
It is 9” long, 5 ½” wide at its widest part, and 5 ½” high from the bottom to the top of the handles.
It has crazing throughout (which I personally love because I think it adds so much vintage character), and some fleabites and rough spots that would have occurred during the production process. It has a small chip on the inside rim, which you don’t see on the outside.
It reminds me of pieces that Inarco made in Japan in the 1950s and 1960s, but it’s not marked or has a label that says Inarco. It is only marked Made in Japan.
Please keep in mind that when buying vintage items, you are purchasing something that is pre-loved and used. Most vintage items show signs of wear and may have defects, but that is also what makes them so unique.
