50s The Lemonade Dress

This sunny yellow dress is a homemade piece without any tags. The style and pinked inner seams indicate this dress was most likely made in the 1950's. Fabric is a medium weight synthetic, with a "swishy" quality like a nylon or poly blend. Unlined. There is an opening in the side with two snap buttons to allow some room to put on and remove, but this piece has no stretch. The waist cannot be pulled on over a larger bust/ribcage, so be aware of your top and midsection measurements before purchase.

This dress has a few small sections of pale pink discoloration, looks most likely like dye transfer from being against another garment when wet. These flaws are not highly noticeable due to the movement and flare of the skirt. Flaws are shown in the last product image.

Size S.

17” pit to pit, up to a 28” waist, 42. 5” long.
