This bright gold plated necklace is composed of 13 cast and textured sets of leaves. The tree leaves measure 1 inch long and link together to hang nicely around your neck. It is a choker size for a small to average woman's neck at 16 inches. It closes with its original fold over box clasp.

This metal necklace is circa 1950 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
