Get an Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's-inspired look with this black wool sheath dress

The "little black dress" that Givenchy designed for Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany's inspired a plethora of sheath silhouette shadow copies. This dress, most likely, is one of them. But, this more-demure version would have easily been worn as a day dress, rather than cocktail or evening wear. It comes in a medium weight, super-duper soft wool weave fabric. The silhouette is sheath-like, but with a fuller lower back section (skirt). It features a super square, low-cut back line, and high and wide front neckline. The center front has an eight button closure with absolutely gorgeous passementerie style braided cord buttons (plus hook & eye at waist and snap closure at neck). Original thread belt loops still intact, but alas, not original belt. It's worth noting that the back skirt has extra fabric ease near the waist, for added folds - lovely design detail. The overall condition is excellent to very good with some repairs throughout, including a noticeable one to the seam at back skirt, near waist, as well as a hole repair at lower back skirt.
