Stunning black cocktail/party dress from the 1950s. Velvet bodice and full skirt with tiers of tight pleats and velvet ribbons. The colors of the bodice and the skirt are more similar than appears in photos, meaning there’s less contrast between the colors. We recommend wearing it with a crinoline (photos are taken with one) to highlight the gorgeous shape. Same pleats at neckline with cutout detail. This is a truly special piece, wonderful condition, perfect for a formal event or fancy holiday party!
