This hat is simple and beautiful. Although it appears to be straw, the material feels more like a type of plasticized straw. The pink velvet band is faded as well as the flowers and it could use steaming to put it back into original shape (see photos). This is a piece that would look beautiful in a display or even worn on a sunny day with the right frilly dress.
