1950s cheongsam dress. Gorgeous silver silk with floral brocade pattern throughout. Buttons up at the front with Chinese knot-buttons and snaps, and zips up at the side.

A previous owner of the dress sewed the hem up a good 3-4" higher (as seen in the 2nd to last photo). It doesn't take away from the beauty of the dress, however the stitch line is visible where it was taken up. I considered trying to take it back to its original length, but I wasn't sure how the crease of the fold would come out. Perhaps someone with more confidence in manipulating fabric / fabric restoration could try it if they wanted to. Otherwise it's still very wearable!

Fabric is 100% silk. Made in Hong Kong. In good - very good vintage condition!

No size on tag. Would fit XS-S best.
