Here's your chance to own a rare Liberty of London designed fabric dress, by Milton Saunders - a true designer collaboration!
Liberty of London (a.k.a. Liberty's) has been known for their scintillating prints and high-end fabrics, since 1875. In this example, they've licensed out one of their prints to designer Milton Saunders. Today, Liberty of London still sells their luxury fabrics for between $42-$100 per yard.
This late 50's silk, sheath silhouette dress has short sleeves, a princess-seamed bodice, and fitted skirt that ends around the knees. The waist is adorned with a lovely, self fabric, attached belt featuring a star-flower embellishment. Neckline, upper bodice, sleeves and hem of dress are also finished with an extraordinary Trapunto quilting detail! Dress is lined with a lightweight silk or acetate fabric and there is a center back metal zipper closure with hook & eye. Labels in the skirt seam read 'A Milton Saunders Original' and 'Liberty of London, pure silk'. Overall condition is excellent to near mint, with absolutely no flaws to note! Please review photographs for full details.
