Late 1950's vintage silk watercolor floral sheath dress by Bud Kilpatrick for I. Magnin. This is an absolute bombshell of a dress. Gorgeous large scale painterly print of roses in autumnal shades of ochre, persimmon, avocado green and white on silk. Wide boat neckline. Pleats at the shoulders down to the waist. Slightly blousy bodice. Natural nipped waist with original belt. Fitted through the waist, hips and thighs. This is definitely a dress you wiggle into. Lower scooped back. Lined in green acetate. Nylon zipper at the back.
