I thrifted this plate a few years ago, and the signature and number told me it could be something special. This is an individual plate. There are NO flaws...the photo shows a bit of sticky glue from the lsale tag, . The large serving plates sell for over $200! Here are the details:

Pol Chambost began his career as a funerary sculptor.
He explores numerous facets of creation, from the unique object to the small series. He is one of the spearheads of the Trade association of French Ceramists. The curvilinear and sensual shape of his ceramics shows his passion, daring but also traditional. One of the most talented ceramists of the 50s, for beautiful, functional and ornamental objects.
