Do you know how rare it is to find a 70 year old man's sweater in excellent condition? This sweater is just amazing! The elbows are not worn thin, nor are they stretched out or
mis-shapen. Cuffs are pristine other than two very tiny dark spots that may wash out. I could only detect one very small flaw in the back of one sleeve that I am going to repair with a few small stitches you won't see.
Waist is not stretched out, like most vintage sweaters.

I think the sweater was washed at least once, only because the chest measures 36, not the 38 as the label reads, and the label looks as if it has been laundered. The sweater possibly shrank a very small amount, but enough to make it less desirable for the original owner, and it was never worn again. If it did shrink a small amount, the sweater does not feel extra thick like sweaters that are washed in hot water by mistake. It feels perfectly normal, and appears so.

This will make a great gift for a man or a woman.
