50s Red Lace A-Line Party Dress$88.00
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Gorgeous 1950s little red dress!! The satin detailing, lace overlay, high boat neckline and 3/4 sleeves make this a vintage classic. Has fully lined skirt and back zipper + hook/eye closure. No labels or tags on this beauty so she is likely handmade.
NOTED FLAWS: The side seam of the waistband has been mended as the original threads were coming loose. If you look at the 2nd to last photo you'll notice a hole, which has since been fixed :) Has a very very slight "old clothing" smell but not terrible and a dry cleaning could help.
MEASURMENTS:
Vintage sizing can tricky as the size listed on the tag of a vintage garment does not always reflect the actual size by today’s standards, so it is very important to measure, measure, measure! CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS LISTED BELOW against a similar item you own that fits you nicely. I recommend using a soft measuring tape and laying the garment flat on the floor. To measure the waist and hips with the garment laying flat, measure straight across the waistline/hipline and then multiply by 2 to get the around-the-waist/hip measurements.
