I have just given these 1950s glass crystal beads new life, by restringing two broken necklaces, and making them into one. I am so proud, because I used all "recycled materials"
( except for the high quality flex-wire) , and saved these beads from the land fill. I retained the original clasp, for authenticity. One necklace was a red crystal, and the other a borealis crystal. The resulting marriage is a fantastic glass strand that measures 21 inches long. the widest bead is a half inch wide. Wonderful gift for Valentines, Christmas, Anniversary, or any time!
