Vintage 50s Purple Lace Dress
Measures 19" across underarm to underarm with material flat and stretched out. Doubles to 38", but due to the material being nonstretch and the bodice being button up I would think a 36" bust would fit best, 29" waist, free hips, 16. 5" bodice, 14" shoulders, 41" long. Model is 5'1" for comparison, dress will be shorter on you if you are taller. Dress was clipped on back to fit. Vintage size 16 - sizing has changed over the years so this will not fit modern 16. Perhaps a modern US M?
Acetate lining is pinkish purple, lace is purple. Side metal zipper.
Lovely condition - I do note the lining hangs lower than hem at front and back toward center, not sure why this is as I can see no alterations.
