Lovely vintage 50s medium weight hand sequined black cashmere cardigan sweater by Pringle of Scotland.

100% pure cashmere sweater is embellished with iridescent black sequins on the front and back as pictured.

The neckline, sleeve cuffs, both sides of the front and around the bottom are embellished with the same iridescent black sequins as pictured.

Cropped length with wrist length sleeves. Ribbed neckline, sleeve ends and sweater bottom.

Does up the center front with hidden black metal hook and eyes as pictured.

The front and back are lined with lightweight black woven silk - the sleeves are unlined.

This sweater is "full-fashioned" meaning it was knit into shape, rather than being cut and sewn from a flat piece of knit fabric.

The color is a rich deep black which was difficult to photograph - I have lightened several photos to show details.

CONDITION: Excellent - no fading, discoloration, holes, rips, stains, snags, broken or missing sequins, or other issues. The knit is very strong and not thin or stressed. The only thing is a slight storage odor which will come out with dry cleaning.
