A rare find in my favorite colors, turquoise and red! This has been in my collection for about 20 years. We found it in Las Vegas , soon after we moved here. I finally got around to cleaning and pressing this rare and precious dress! However, even after taking it to the cleaners, the stains at the bottom of the hem in the back remain. I think the answer is to just shorten the dress a little bit! There is also a tiny spot on the collar. I have not taken any bleach to it yet, but again, I think it is an easy fix. See close ups. The white buttons that run down the back of the dress have a raised swirl. The red buttons in front also have texture. This could have been home made. There is one belt loop, and a red sash or ribbon for making a bow in the back would add just the right touch! I placed the dress on a baby doll, but the dress is too large, and I only have the one doll, so this is all I can do to give the appearance of it being worn. Please go by the measurements. I have no idea, being childless, of what age child this dress would fit. No other flaws. The weight of the cotton fabric is medium. There is a large hem at the bottom, that could be used to make a belt. This is beautifully tailored, and deserves to be seen on a doll or child.
