This gorgeous dress is truly one of a kind The velvet - in a deep rich blue color - is soft but sturdy (thicker velvet fabric to keep you warmer). So chic and elegant. While this may be homemade, the construction of this piece is really incredible- complete with a sizable and chic pocket The beaded appliques seem like they were added afterwards. The zipper also looks “newer “than the garment (but is still a vintage metal zipper). Garment zips up the back. There is no tag. This would best fit a small or medium. Model is modern size 4/6 and it fits in the waist but is large in the bust (model is modern 34B).

Good vintage condition - there are a few minor spots and creases to the velvet (pictured). The beaded appliques have some minor wear (looks like the beads may have had color on them at one point?).
