50s Historical Ww2 Parachute Silk Wedding Gown$650.00
A gorgeous piece of history that has been lovingly restored to be wearable for someone's special day. This gown is made from silk and nylon and created from a parachute used during World War 2. The lace details of florals is done with what appears to be handmade bobbin lace and the dress was also handmade for the bride. Don't miss out on your chance to own something truly unique and live your prairie dress style dreams! Can be worn with a petticoat as pictured or for an even fuller effect it can be worn with a hoop skirt. There is a few inch difference between the front and the back to give a small train-like effect without it dragging too far behind.

Condition: This gown was very badly discolored when she was discovered, but after many washes and brightening treatments she looks almost good as new! There are a few small areas of light discoloration and I feel I have taken it as far as I can, a dry cleaning may remove additional discoloring if desired. Please see the pictures included to see a closer look. There are few small tears in the nylon netting but these can also be mended if desired. Buttons are in tact but show light signs of discoloration, I left them in place to keep as much of it original as possible but those can easily be replaced if desired.
