Absolutely gorgeous 1950s possibly 60s shirtwaist dress. Novelty print of 1860s New England with figures in teal and red on a mottled aged map looking beige background. Short cuffed sleeves, a near full circle skirt and a matching belt (see last photo, I forgot to photograph this with the belt on it!) . And wonder of wonders, it even has a pocket at one hip! Buttons up the front and hook and eye and snaps at the waist. Label reads: The Spectator. Small size I'd say. Cotton.
Near mint vintage condition. I haven't spotted a thing, it looks unworn.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust, waist and hip.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 39"
Waist: 26" barely but there is room to shift the hook and eye and snaps and get maybe up to another inch.
Hips: full
Should to waist: 15"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 41"
Belt is adjustable
