50s Novelty Print Apron "The Hell With Housework!"

This red and black cotton, novelty print 1950s half apron features a lady who is fed up, tossing a plate to the kitchen floor and exclaiming “To Hell with Housework!” Amen, sister—down with the patriarchy, and the dishes! The black, screen-printed design has faded a bit, but is still clear against the bright red cotton background. The apron’s waistband is black cotton flannel, with metallic gold lettering spelling out “Las Vegas”—so it was probably a souvenir purchase on a mid-century trip to Vegas. The apron’s ties are relatively short, and it will fit best on a waist size or 30 inches or smaller. The only issue with this fun 1950s apron is the somewhat faded design. It is in very good condition.
