This slip was made in the 50's, and is in amazing condition given its age. The taffeta material has a sheen and a substantial feeling, so it wouldn't feel out of place worn out of the house. The rich navy blue material is also not sheer, so it could be worn with nothing layered under. It features a V-neckline, with a slightly gathered bust, an inverted V waistline, and a paneled skirt creating an A-line shape. The edges are scalloped, with three tiers of this delicate detail work at the hem. This slip is available in a hard-to-find larger size... it will fit a variety of sizes depending on the desired fit. The straps are adjustable which also help control the fit. Made in the USA of acetate.
