1950's mushroom brim hat. Fabric is a novelty braid raffia in a navy blue color. Crown is flat and the brim extends down 4 inches. Hatband is a narrow velvet ribbon with a side clear rhinestone button.

Interior has a wired edge placement cap for security.

Very good condition with only the velvet hatband showing age and wear.

Label is Evelyn Varon who was a French milliner between 1920 and 1970. She was known for her high quality designs.

Inner circumference is variable due to the styling. It should fit between 21 - 23 inches. Measuring on the outside, side to side is 15 inches.
