A very prim and proper vintage brown and red- flecked tweed suit in a beautiful medium weight wool, with rhinestone buckles and red ribbon accents.

The jacket is fully lined in a gorgeous rich red crepe lining. There is another large satin label at the neckline that reads "Young Flair - MILGRIM". Five original covered buttons run down the front, and there is a single, matching button on each sleeve cuff. The cuffs are notched. The jacket is a marvel of fine tailoring, with fake pockets and a tiny hook at the waist. I can see NO WEAR on any of the buttons or button holes, neck, or cuffs! Mint condition !

The skirt is lined in the same dreamy red crepe to just below the hips. The waist closes with a snap and a secure metal hook. It has a small metal zipper, and two fabric loops for hanging. The skirt hem has been lowered, so you can see the full length, so it will have to be hemmed for your height. The rear kick pleat would be 7 inches long, if the skirt were hemmed one inch.
