“Dana was apparently the name of a shop at that address. I found a 1947 reference to a fashion show put on by "Dana-Festive Fashions of 515 Madison Avenue." The 1957 Greater New York Industrial Directory listed the Dana Blouse Co. (Ladies blouses) at 515 Madison Avenue. A 1958 article mentioned a piece of jewelry available at "the Dana Shop, 515 Madison Avenue (Fifty-Third Street)." A 1960 article mentioned jewelry available at "Dana, 515 Madison Avenue” - copied from Vintage Fashion Guild Forum
