DETAILS: A fabulous early-to-mid 1950s rayon gab shirt, sought after and very wearable, at a friendly price due to minor flaws. The shirt is a classic of its era - see vintage ads from 1950 and 1952. The collar is slightly oversized, with a collar loop. The shirt has a back yoke with pleats below for ease of wear, and two chest pockets, both with flaps.

FABRIC/COLORS: Buttery rayon gabardine medium weight with lovely drape. "Sanforset" and machine washable per the tag. Color is a warm shade of butterscotch.

CLOSURES: Four pearly plastic buttons down the front (horizontal buttonholes) plus a smaller collar button with loop.
CONDITION: There are worn areas at the edge of each cuff - see closeup. I also see some fray to the lower half of the bottom buttonhole, and the left sleeve cuff buttonhole - see second closeup. A very small discoloration right elbow area - see third closeup.
