This is a lovely 1950s linen dress suit in a subtle mauve color, almost beige. The dress has a flattering scooped neck, cinched waist, curve-hugging skirt, and matching fabric belt. There is a metal side zipper. It is unlined. The jacket sports a black velvet notched collar, three buttons up the front, and front pockets with flaps. The smaller of the pockets is only decorative. It is fully lined. Made by Junior Sophisticates and sold at the upscale department store, Montaldo's. It was a "going away" outfit for a bride in 1954. In excellent condition.
