Vintage 1950s (possibly late 40s) "Little Black Dress", 1920s style, drop waist silhouette. Black on Black satin stripe, cold rayon.

Large women's US size 8 10 12. Likely meant as a day dress or tea dress, this Larger size beauty can go from business, to day, to formal with ease.

Fabulous details include waffle smocked shoulders, mild shoulder pads, soft half sleeves, finely trimmed & finished, jet black & rhinestone button front top. Black satin sash, sits mid rise to low on hips, depending on build.

Skirt falls in crisp knife pleats, to below knee. Side metal half zip.

1940's Black velvet, box purse, sold separately.

In MINT condition with very minor professional alterations, that may have occurred at original point of sale. including two inch hem (original hem still intact and likely easily let back down) & let out at waist about 1/2 inch on each side. Amazing condition!
