This vintage 1950's hat is SO CLASSIC it could be worn in almost any era!

A truly classic toque or topper style hat, it could have been worn in almost any decade since the 1950's and look up-to-date. It comes in a rigid ivory color fabric that has a unique 'lace' of interlocking thick threads, webbed into thinner threads (I've actually never seen fabric like it!). The main section of hat is slightly domed and has seven ribbed tiers running around the brim. The side 'pinchers' and inner brim consist of a rayon-based matching velvet piping. Very front of hat is adorned with a pearly petaled flower. No labels or makers marks. Overall condition is excellent and very strong, with just a few light spots throughout (please see pics) and these are only viewable from up close.

- 7.5" length (front to back)

- approx 2" height (not including 'pinchers')
