Malihini 1950’s:

This teatimer cheongsam beauty looks pristine, but it’s actually been through hell and back: Got if for myself years ago, but turned out to be very poorly taken in, making it too small and weird-fitting. So I took it apart on each side of the dress and had it professionally cleaned-up. Now it fits more true to the vintage 50’s Malihini size 12 tag. 100% crisp unworn cotton with gold accents on the killer atomic-age print, and great shiny metal Talon zipper at center back.

Fits approx XS-S
34-35” chest;
28” waist—
2 shaping darts on each side; approx 2” allowance at waist if let out; was originally sewn approx 2” smaller than current 28”, can be sewn in again to 26” waist by request.
40” hip where 23” long side slits start;
45” long from back neck seam;
13” arm holes.

Aside from restoration, there was a very small 1/2” fraying at top of zipper that has been invisibly sewn to stabilize.

Gorgeous print/style, hard to find in this condition; always open to layaway.
