This is a tough one to explain, but here goes....I had an art challenge to produce a work of art about "old" Las Vegas. So I thought, great! I can use those show girl feathers I have been sitting on for ages. After all, isn't this why I never throw anything away? And I also have some beads for the Las Vegas costume designer, that I got from her storage unit, from her husband, after she passed...I could use those too! Well, after all was said and done, I had created a great looking hat, by attaching my feathers to a 1950s straw hat shell, that was doing very little, in terms of sales, and then I decided it was not really "art", but was "costume", and needed to be sold as such. I not selling the beaded collar yet, but I am selling just the hat now. It measures about 15 " across when on a head , and slightly drooping at the edges. I think this is a great accessory for the stage, red carpet, Halloween, or any affair you want to "WOW" them. Enjoy!
