Lovely 1940s 1950s handmade sky blue tea-length midi party dress. Someone stitched this with lots of love, wanting to look great at a party or out for an evening of dancing. Iridescent sky blue nylon fabric. Bodice is a carefully constructed shirt design, with a v-collar and faux button placket with gorgeous large rhinestone buttons set in metal. Top button opens, the rest do not. Horizontal pleats across front of bodice. Fabric is semi-sheer over a solid slip liner. Cap sleeves. Has belt loops if you wish to add one. Full pleated midi skirt with finished hem.

Fully lined in solid pale blue nylon. Side metal zipper. No stretch. No size or materials tag--handmade. Estimating a size 4/6. See measurements below!

Condition--This dress has stood the test of time and has been cared for with love, but shows some age though it has a long life ahead of it. Very good vintage condition. Needs a careful wash. Some light staining on inside of liner skirt. Side zipper is sticky but works great. Rhinestone buttons can use a tighter stitch. Nylon chiffon is stiff. See pics!
