Junior Accent
50s Formal Peach Lace Covered Satin Dress with Open Back by Junior Accent$92.00
This is a classic fancy formal dress, out of the 50s, with a sexy figure hugging outline, and a rare bare back. There is a metal zipper on the left side. The halter neck secures with two metal hook and eyes, one on each side. No hem to let down. In fact. I recommend shortening the dress, to remove the three holes I found in the lace, all near the hem. See close ups. There is PLENTY of material to do just that, as it is a long mid-calf length, and these normally went to below the knee, or longer. The dress is fully lined in peach satin, and there is a top inner-section with a hook and eye that I guess is supposed to give support to the bust. Beautiful iridescent sequins and pearls (some have lost their fake pearl coating) adorn the upper front an back. If you wear a small size, this would make a great wedding dress or prom dress. Also great for the red carpet event, or New Years. Just think how great this would look with long gloves and crystal jewelry! I found a few "Junior Accent" labels, but they most are from the 60s, and they must have changed their logo to match the times. I could not find any with the same label shown here, so this may be a rarity. . Go by measurements:
Bust: 34"
waist: 26:
Hips: 36"
length: 45" from top of shoulder to bottom of hem
